Frequently Asked Questions
You Have Questions. We Have Answers.
-
What does curb repair typically cost?
Curb repair usually runs $40–$80 per linear foot, and a 250-home development averages roughly $150,000 in curb R&R costs. These repairs often push out inspections and delay bond release, impacting cash flow and closing schedules.
-
How does Curb Saver reduce delays?
By preventing damage throughout construction, Curb Saver eliminates end-of-project curb repairs that cause inspection rework, schedule friction, and delayed bond release. Builders finish faster and smoothly.
-
Does Curb Saver protect both the face and top of the curb?
Yes. Curb Saver is specifically designed to protect the face and the top of the curb — a key performance advantage over mats, gravel pads, wattles, or rubber strips.
-
How long does installation take?
Each piece takes 1–2 minutes to install. Units are 6 ft long and weigh under 50 lbs, making them easy for one worker to place, adjust, or move.
-
Is Curb Saver sustainable and reusable?
Absolutely, Curb Saver is engineered for multi-development reuse, offering long-term ROI for builders and reducing landfill waste compared to disposable or non-durable solutions. This innovative approach extends product life cycles, minimizes resource consumption, and supports a more sustainable construction industry overall.
-
How do I know what size or quantities I need?
Our Sure-Fit™ Process includes an Intake step where you upload photos, basic measurements, and driveway counts. Our team sizes everything correctly and prepares a Build/Design sheet for approval.
-
What do you need from me to get started?
We simply need from you:
- Subdivision/phase
- Driveway counts and approximate widths
- Curb profile (rolled/vertical/wedge)
- A few photos and 30 second videos with a tape measure visible
- Site address and point of contact
-
How does the design approval process work?
After Intake, we provide a Build/Design drawing, a bill of materials, and a layout plan. You approve digitally via email or e-signature before production begins.
-
What are typical lead times?
Lead times are communicated during design approval and vary by quantity and region. Expedited production or delivery may be available upon request.
-
How durable is the system?
Curb Saver withstands repeated traffic from trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and other construction equipment. The steel + neoprene system absorbs impact and resists shifting under real jobsite conditions.
-
How does Curb Saver compare to wattles, gravel pads, horse mats, or rubber strips?
- Wattles: Good for erosion only — provide no impact protection.
- Gravel + rubber strip: Improve cleanliness but shift and leave curb edges exposed.
- Horse mats: Durable, but not form-fitting; drift easily, awkward to move.
- Curb Saver: Purpose-built impact protection with face + top coverage, fast install, and multi-year reusability.
-
Does it work on radius or non-standard curbs?
Yes. We size and build configurations to match radius or specialty curb profiles through your Intake photos and measurements.
-
How do you verify proper installation?
After delivery, we either:
- Conduct a site visit, or
- Have your team submit installation photos to confirm proper seating, coverage, and alignment.
-

Producing in the USA allows us to maintain the craftsmanship builders expect, support local jobs, and deliver products that reflect the same pride and durability found across your communities.
-
What’s the ROI compared to traditional curb R&R?
Builders typically save significant time and tens of thousands in:
- Curb repairs
- Inspection rework
- Bond-release delays
- End-of-project punch corrections
- Most builders see ROI on the very first development
-
Do you offer any performance guarantee?
